Project Cafe

Small cafes often manage menu browsing, pickup orders, walk-in sales, sold-out items, and sales tracking across separate tools or manual workflows.

Project Cafe connects the customer ordering experience with the cafe's day-to-day POS workflow, so website and walk-in orders can be managed from one system.

Customers can browse the menu and featured items, customize drinks, choose a pickup time, review an order, and receive a clear confirmation. Sold-out handling keeps the customer menu aligned with current availability, while Messenger remains available for direct inquiries.

Project Cafe includes a dedicated Android tablet POS for walk-in sales, website pickup orders, product management, and practical sales reporting. The interface is optimized for both landscape and portrait use, with streamlined checkout and role-based access for café staff.

The tablet interface separates daily café operations from administrative settings, keeping cashier workflows fast while giving managers and administrators access to the tools they need.

Sales can be reviewed by Today, Week, Month, Year, or a custom date range. Reporting includes total sales, average order value, growth, busiest periods, top sellers, and payment and channel breakdowns.

Staff and shift reporting also helps managers review sales processed, cash reconciliation, and daily operational activity.

Developed local-first with a stable API layer so each future cafe deployment can use an isolated production backend without rewriting the customer website or POS.

Functional product prototype. Customer website, pickup ordering, Android tablet POS v0.3.8, role-based operations, guided admin management, product management, and sales analysis are complete and locally verified across landscape and portrait tablet layouts. Production hosting and client-specific deployment are configured per cafe.
